Free NAATI CCL Punjabi Mock Test 20: Traffic Court and Identity Theft
We built this paper as the final exam of the free set. Sitting it tells us whether you can carry a genuine legal risk warning without turning it into comfort, hold a sworn-document concept that has no one-word Punjabi equivalent, and reproduce a six-step remediation sequence in the order it was given, because on this paper the order is itself worth marks.
What this paper is built to expose
Advanced — legal, clinical or financial terminology under load. Every mock test in this library is written around specific, nameable failure points rather than being a random conversation — so the score you get tells you what to fix, not just whether you passed.
- 1delivering a risk warning at full strength instead of softening "the court can impose a higher penalty" into reassurance
- 2keeping the sworn quality of a statutory declaration rather than reducing it to an ordinary form or letter
- 3carrying two-branch conditionals (if he signs by the 29th, then no court; if not, then 20 October) across a clause boundary
- 4reproducing an ordered remediation sequence in sequence, since first, then, and last are scoreable units here
- 5separating running totals that look alike: ten points, four points, fourteen points and a twelve-point limit
Sit the test
Model answers stay hidden until each dialogue is finished. Afterwards you mark yourself against 86 individual information units and the same 36-plus-9 split NAATI uses. The full transcript is further down the page whenever you want it — but read it before you sit, and the number stops meaning anything.
16 segments. Two dialogues. One take.
This runner keeps every model answer hidden until you finish a dialogue — the full transcript is further down the page, and reading it first is the one thing that makes your score meaningless. Interpret every segment out loud, as if someone is waiting for the meaning. Then mark yourself against the real criteria: 36 marks for accuracy, 9 for language quality, per dialogue.
Free, no account, nothing to install. Your score is saved on this device only.
Before you start
- Speak, do not think itInterpreting silently is a different skill from producing sound under pressure.
- Do not pause the segmentThe real test does not wait. Pausing turns a measurement into a rehearsal.
- Record yourself if you canYour phone's voice memo app is enough. It is the only way to hear your own hesitations.
- Mark harshlyAn assessor who has never met you certainly will.
How this mock test is scored
NAATI marks each CCL dialogue out of 45, split into two things that are assessed separately. The self-marking above mirrors that split exactly, which is what makes the number comparable to a real result rather than a guess.
Every fact, number, name, qualifier and instruction that has to cross into the other language. Omit one and it is gone; change one and it costs you again, because a distorted fact is worse than a missing one for the person relying on you.
Fluency, grammar and vocabulary, and register. This is where two candidates who conveyed identical content end up several marks apart — one sounded like an interpreter, the other sounded like they were guessing.
The rule that catches people: you need 63 out of 90 overall and at least 29 out of 45 on each dialogue. A brilliant transport & roads dialogue cannot rescue a weak technology & digital one. How CCL scoring really works.
Full transcript with model answers
Both dialogues in full: the source speech, the model interpretation in Gurmukhi with transliteration, the information units an assessor is counting, and the specific error each segment tends to produce.
Duty Lawyer on a Speeding Charge and a Threatened Suspension
Your brief. A Punjabi-speaking delivery driver has received a camera-detected speeding notice for a vehicle he owns but says he was not driving. He is seeing the free duty lawyer at Ipswich Magistrates Court to work out whether to pay the fine, nominate the actual driver, or elect a court hearing, with his licence and his job at stake.
Speakers: Duty lawyer at Ipswich Magistrates Court (English) and Punjabi-speaking delivery driver and vehicle owner (Punjabi). You interpret for both.
- 1. Duty lawyerEnglish Punjabi38 words
I'm the duty lawyer here at Ipswich Magistrates Court, and this advice is free. Your camera notice is dated 1 September: 24 km/h over the limit on the Warrego Highway, a fine of $725 and four demerit points.
main ithe Ipswich Magistrates Court da duty lawyer haan, ate ih salaah mufat hai. tuhada camera notice 1 satambar da hai: Warrego Highway utte hadd ton 24 kilometre vaddh speed, 725 dollar jurmana ate chaar demerit point.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- he is the duty lawyer at Ipswich Magistrates Court
- the advice is free
- the notice is dated 1 September
- 24 km/h over the limit, on the Warrego Highway
- fine of $725
- four demerit points
Terms in this segment- duty lawyer — ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਾਇਰ duty lawyer
- fine — ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ jurmana
- demerit points — ਡਿਮੈਰਿਟ ਪੌਇੰਟ demerit point
Where marks go here: Candidates deliver the fine and the points as one lump ("a fine and some points"). $725 and four points are two separate scoreable facts, and the 24 km/h figure is a third. Dropping "free" also matters: it is why the client stays for the whole interview.

par us din gaddi main nahin chala riha si. mera saala Harjit meri ute lai ke kamm te gaya si. mere kol pahilan hi point han, ate main delivery van chala ke roti kamaunda haan.
Model interpretationBut I was not driving that day. My brother-in-law Harjit had taken my ute to work. I already have points on my licence, and I earn my living driving a delivery van.
What must survive (5 marks of information)- denies he was the driver on that day
- brother-in-law named Harjit was driving
- Harjit had taken the ute to work
- he already has demerit points
- he drives a delivery van for a living
Terms in this segment- brother-in-law (wife's brother) — ਸਾਲਾ saala
- ute — ਯੂਟ ute
- to earn a living — ਰੋਟੀ ਕਮਾਉਣਾ roti kamauna
Where marks go here: ਸਾਲਾ is the wife's brother specifically; in this room it must come out as the neutral "brother-in-law", never as the abusive sense the word carries when used as a swear. Candidates who translate it as "cousin" or "relative" break the nomination story that the rest of the dialogue rests on.

Your traffic history already shows ten points in the last three years. Four more takes you to fourteen, above the twelve-point limit on an open licence, and Transport and Main Roads will suspend you for three months.
tuhade traffic record vich pichhle tinn saalan de pahilan hi das point han. chaar hor naal chaudan ho jaange, jo open licence di baaran point di hadd ton vaddh hai, ate Transport and Main Roads tuhada licence tinn mahine layi muattal kar devega.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- ten points already, over the last three years
- four more makes fourteen
- the limit is twelve points on an open licence
- fourteen is above the limit
- Transport and Main Roads does the suspending, not the court
- suspension of three months
Terms in this segment- traffic history — ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ traffic record
- open licence — ਓਪਨ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ open licence
- to suspend — ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰਨਾ muattal karna
Where marks go here: Four numbers land in a row: ten, four, fourteen, twelve. Assessors mark each separately, and the arithmetic must survive: candidates who say "you have too many points" lose four units at once. Note also that the suspension comes from the licensing authority, not the magistrate.
- 4. Mr DhillonPunjabi English33 words
tinn mahine gaddi na chalai taan meri naukri chali javegi. mere chachere bhra nu pichhle saal adalat ton work licence mil gaya si. ki main vi use tarhan di arzi de sakda haan?
Model interpretationIf I cannot drive for three months I will lose my job. My cousin was given a work licence by the court last year. Can I apply for the same thing?
What must survive (4 marks of information)- three months without driving means losing his job
- his cousin got a work licence
- the cousin got it from the court, last year
- asks whether he can apply for the same
Terms in this segment- work licence — ਵਰਕ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ work licence
- cousin (father's brother's son) — ਚਚੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ chachera bhra
- application — ਅਰਜ਼ੀ arzi
Where marks go here: This is a conditional ("if I cannot drive... I will lose my job"), not a statement that he has lost it. Candidates who render it as "I have lost my job" invent a fact. ਚਚੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ is the father's brother's son; "cousin" is the correct English, and it must stay distinct from the ਸਾਲਾ of segment two.
- 5. Duty lawyerEnglish Punjabi40 words
A work licence covers only certain drink driving charges, so not yours. You may elect a court hearing, listed on 20 October, but I must be plain: the magistrate is not bound by $725 and can impose a higher penalty.
work licence sirf kujh sharaab pee ke gaddi chalaun vaale kesan layi hunda hai, is layi tuhade vaaste nahin. tusin adaalti sunvaai chun sakde ho, jo 20 aktoobar nu laggegi, par main saaf dass dian: magistrate 725 dollar takk seemat nahin hai ate is ton vaddh saza vi de sakda hai.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- a work licence applies only to certain drink driving charges
- so it is not available to him
- he may elect a court hearing (permission, not obligation)
- the hearing would be listed on 20 October
- the magistrate is not bound by the $725 on the notice
- the court can impose a higher penalty
Terms in this segment- to elect a court hearing — ਅਦਾਲਤੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਚੁਣਨਾ adaalti sunvaai chunna
Where marks go here: This is the segment the paper is built around. "The magistrate can impose a higher penalty" is a warning, and candidates routinely soften it into "the magistrate might reduce the fine" or "you can explain and it will be fine" because they are trying to comfort a worried client. Reversing a risk warning is treated as a serious distortion, not a small omission. Keep "you may elect" as a choice, not "you must go to court".
- 6. Mr DhillonPunjabi English33 words
taan adalat jaan vich vi khatra hai. main ih khatra nahin laina chahunda. Harjit manda hai ki us din gaddi uhi chala riha si. usnu ki karna pavega, ate kis tareekh takk?
Model interpretationSo going to court carries a risk as well. I do not want to take that risk. Harjit admits that he was the one driving that day. What does he have to do, and by what date?
What must survive (5 marks of information)- understands that going to court is itself a risk
- does not want to take that risk
- Harjit admits he was the driver that day
- asks what Harjit must do
- asks by what date it must be done
Terms in this segment- risk — ਖ਼ਤਰਾ khatra
- to admit — ਮੰਨਣਾ manna
- by what date — ਕਿਸ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ਤੱਕ kis tareekh takk
Where marks go here: Two questions close the segment and candidates answer with one, dropping "by what date". The deadline question is what triggers the next segment, so losing it costs a mark here and blurs the 29 September answer that follows.
- 7. Duty lawyerEnglish Punjabi39 words
Then nominate him. He signs a statutory declaration with his full name, address and licence number, sworn before a Justice of the Peace, and it must be lodged by 29 September. Signing a false declaration is a criminal offence.
phir usnu naamzad karo. uh ikk statutory declaration utte aapna poora naan, pata ate licence number likh ke JP de saahmne sahun naal dastkhat kare, ate ih 29 satambar takk jamhaan honi chahidi hai. jhoothi declaration utte dastkhat karna jurm hai.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- nominate the actual driver
- by statutory declaration, a sworn document
- must give full name, address and licence number
- signed before a Justice of the Peace
- lodged by 29 September
- a false declaration is a criminal offence
Terms in this segment- to nominate (a driver) — ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕਰਨਾ naamzad karna
- statutory declaration — ਸਟੈਚੂਟਰੀ ਡਿਕਲੇਰੇਸ਼ਨ statutory declaration
- Justice of the Peace — ਜੇ. JP
- criminal offence — ਜੁਰਮ jurm
Where marks go here: A statutory declaration is not a ਫਾਰਮ or a ਚਿੱਠੀ. If the sworn element and the witness disappear, so does the reason a false one is a crime, and the final sentence stops making sense. Three separate identity details are required, and candidates who say "his details" lose all three.
- 8. Mr DhillonPunjabi English40 words
je Harjit 29 satambar ton pahilan JP de saahmne dastkhat kar deve taan mainu adalat aaun di lorh nahin. je uh na kare taan main 20 aktoobar nu aavanga. ki main tankhah parchian ate maalak di chitthi lai ke aavan?
Model interpretationIf Harjit signs in front of a JP before the twenty-ninth of September, I do not need to come to court. If he does not, I will come on the twentieth of October. Should I bring my payslips and a letter from my employer?
What must survive (5 marks of information)- if Harjit signs before 29 September, no court appearance
- signing must be in front of a JP
- if he does not sign, the client attends on 20 October
- asks whether to bring payslips
- asks whether to bring a letter from his employer
Terms in this segment- payslips — ਤਨਖ਼ਾਹ ਪਰਚੀਆਂ tankhah parchian
- employer — ਮਾਲਕ maalak
- signature — ਦਸਤਖ਼ਤ dastkhat
Where marks go here: Two conditionals with opposite outcomes and two different dates sit in one segment. Candidates who merge them ("I will come on the twenty-ninth") destroy both branches and both dates. The closing request is a question, not a statement that he will bring the documents.
Register and cultural mediation in this dialogue
- Use ਤੁਸੀਂ throughout for the lawyer, and keep it even when he is being blunt. Bluntness in a duty lawyer is professional care, not rudeness, and an interpreter who adds ਜੀ-heavy padding to make the warning gentler changes its legal force.
- Punjabi kinship is precise where English is vague: ਸਾਲਾ (wife's brother) and ਚਚੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ (father's brother's son) both become "brother-in-law" and "cousin" here, and the two men must stay distinct because only one of them is being nominated as the driver.
- A statutory declaration has no clean Punjabi equivalent. Many clients hear "declaration" as an ordinary form and sign whatever a relative puts in front of them, so the interpreter must carry the sworn element and the criminal consequence exactly as spoken rather than smoothing it into paperwork.

Recovering From a Parcel Text Scam and Identity Theft
Your brief. A Punjabi-speaking woman tapped a link in a text message claiming a parcel was being held, and money has since left her account. She is at a free digital help session at Logan Central Library, where a digital support officer works through the recovery steps with her in the order they must be done.
Speakers: Digital support officer at a community library session (English) and Punjabi-speaking woman whose card and identity details were taken (Punjabi). You interpret for both.
- 1. Digital support officerEnglish Punjabi36 words
Welcome to the free digital help session at Logan Central Library. You said a text message told you a parcel was being held. Can you show me exactly what you tapped and what you typed in?
What must survive (5 marks of information)- free digital help session
- at Logan Central Library
- the text message claimed a parcel was being held
- asks to be shown what she tapped
- asks what she typed in
Terms in this segment- text message — ਮੈਸਿਜ message
- to tap (a link) — ਦਬਾਉਣਾ dabauna
- parcel — ਪਾਰਸਲ parcel
Where marks go here: "What you tapped" and "what you typed in" are two different questions: one is about the link, the other about the details she entered. Candidates collapse them into "what you did", and the whole diagnosis in the next segment then arrives unprompted.
- 2. Mrs GillPunjabi English37 words
message vich likhia si ki mera parcel depot vich rukia hai ate 3.95 dollar bharne han. main link daba ke aapna naan, janam tareekh ate card number bhar ditta. agli savere khaate vichon 890 dollar nikal gaye.
Model interpretationThe message said my parcel was being held at the depot and that I had to pay $3.95. I tapped the link and entered my name, date of birth and card number. The next morning $890 went out of my account.
What must survive (5 marks of information)- the parcel was supposedly held at the depot
- the message asked for $3.95
- she tapped the link
- she entered name, date of birth and card number
- $890 left the account the next morning
Terms in this segment- depot — ਡਿਪੂ depot
- date of birth — ਜਨਮ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ janam tareekh
- account — ਖਾਤਾ khaata
Where marks go here: The two dollar figures do opposite work: $3.95 is the bait and $890 is the loss. Candidates who keep only one, or who swap them, break the case. Date of birth is an identity detail, not a payment detail, and it is the reason the credit ban later is necessary.
- 3. Digital support officerEnglish Punjabi39 words
Do this in order. Ring your bank's fraud line first and dispute the $890 today. Then change your email password before any other, because every reset link is sent to your email. Use a different password on each account.
ih kamm ise tarteeb vich karo. pahilan ajj hi bank di fraud line utte phone kar ke 890 dollar vaale lain-dein nu chunauti dio. phir baaki saare passwordaan ton pahilan email da password badlo, kiunki har reset link email utte hi aaunda hai. har khaate da password vakhra rakho.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- the steps must be done in this order
- ring the bank's fraud line first, today
- dispute the $890
- change the email password before any other password
- reason: every reset link goes to the email account
- a different password on each account
Terms in this segment- in order — ਤਰਤੀਬ ਵਿੱਚ tarteeb vich
- fraud line — ਫਰਾਡ ਲਾਈਨ fraud line
- to dispute a transaction — ਲੈਣ-ਦੇਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣਾ lain-dein nu chunauti dena
- password — ਪਾਸਵਰਡ password
Where marks go here: The order is the content here. An answer that lists the same actions in a different sequence loses the ordering units even if every action is present, and dropping "before any other" removes the one instruction that makes the email account the priority. "Today" is a deadline, not a filler word.
- 4. Mrs GillPunjabi English38 words
main message raahin aaya code vi use panne utte bhar ditta si. pher main Facebook da password badal lia. ki inna kaafi nahin? meri email ate bank da password ikko hi hai. main myGov kade aap nahin kholia.
Model interpretationI also entered the code that came by text message on the same page. Then I changed my Facebook password. Isn't that enough? My email and my bank use the same password. I have never opened myGov myself.
What must survive (5 marks of information)- she entered the SMS code on the same page
- she changed her Facebook password
- asks whether that is enough
- email and bank share the same password
- she has never opened myGov herself
Terms in this segment- one-time code — ਮੈਸਿਜ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਡ message vaala code
- the same password — ਇੱਕੋ ਪਾਸਵਰਡ ikko password
- myGov — ਮਾਈਗਵ myGov
Where marks go here: "The code that came by text message" is the one-time security code, not the parcel message itself. Candidates who render it as "a code" lose the point that the second factor was handed over, which is exactly what the officer answers next.
- 5. Digital support officerEnglish Punjabi39 words
Because you gave them the SMS code as well, changing Facebook alone does nothing. Switch on two-factor authentication, then ask all three credit reporting bodies for a ban on your credit file. It is free and lasts twenty-one days.
kiunki tusin message vaala code vi de ditta si, sirf Facebook da password badalan naal kujh nahin banda. two-factor authentication chaalu karo, phir tinne credit reporting sansthaavan ton aapni credit file utte ban lagvaao. ih mufat hai ate ikki din chalda hai.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- because the SMS code was given away, the Facebook change alone achieves nothing
- switch on two-factor authentication
- then request a ban on the credit file
- from all three credit reporting bodies
- the ban is free
- the ban lasts twenty-one days
Terms in this segment- two-factor authentication — ਟੂ-ਫੈਕਟਰ ਔਥੈਂਟੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ two-factor authentication
- credit reporting body — ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ਸੰਸਥਾ credit reporting sanstha
- ban on a credit file — ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਫਾਈਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਨ credit file utte ban
Where marks go here: Three numbers hide in this segment: three bodies, twenty-one days, and the fact that the ban is free. Candidates also reverse the causal link and say "changing Facebook will protect you", which contradicts the segment. Keep the two-factor step before the credit ban.
- 6. Mrs GillPunjabi English37 words
bank paise vaapas kar devega taan ki gall mukk nahin jaandi? mera puttar kahinda hai ki police station jao. ate mere myGov da is naal ki laina-daina? main taan saal vich ikk vaari hi myGov vartdi haan.
Model interpretationIf the bank refunds the money, isn't that the end of it? My son says I should go to the police station. And what does my myGov have to do with this? I only use myGov once a year.
What must survive (4 marks of information)- asks whether a refund ends the matter
- her son says to go to the police station
- asks what myGov has to do with it
- she uses myGov only once a year
Terms in this segment- to refund — ਪੈਸੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰਨਾ paise vaapas karna
- police station — ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ police station
- what does it have to do with — ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ-ਦੇਣਾ ki laina-daina
Where marks go here: The son's advice is reported speech and must stay attributed to him, not delivered as the client's own decision. "Once a year" is her reason for thinking myGov is irrelevant, and the officer's answer only lands if that reasoning survives.

You do not need a police station; cybercrime is reported online through ReportCyber, and you keep the reference number. Ring IDCARE on 1800 595 160 for a free response plan. myGov needs its own password change and a linked-services check.
tuhanu police station jaan di lorh nahin; cyber jurm di report online ReportCyber raahin hundi hai, ate reference number sambhaal ke rakho. IDCARE nu 1800 595 160 utte phone karo, uh mufat yojna bana ke dinde han. myGov da password vakhra badalna pavega ate link keetian sevaavan vi check karnian paingian.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- no need to attend a police station
- report online through ReportCyber
- keep the reference number
- ring IDCARE on 1800 595 160
- IDCARE gives a free response plan
- myGov needs its own password change and a linked-services check
Terms in this segment- ReportCyber — ਰਿਪੋਰਟਸਾਈਬਰ ReportCyber
Where marks go here: The phone number must come out digit for digit; 1800 595 160 said as "an 1800 number" is a lost unit. ReportCyber and IDCARE are two different bodies doing two different jobs, and merging them into "report it to the cyber people" costs both. The myGov instruction is separate from the bank instruction, not a repeat of it.

taan ajj pahilan bank di fraud line, pher email da password, pher two-factor, pher credit ban, ate akheer vich ReportCyber te IDCARE. kallh mera puttar myGov dian link keetian sevaavan check karva devega. asin mera Medicare vi vekhaange.
Model interpretationSo today, first the bank's fraud line, then the email password, then two-factor, then the credit ban, and last ReportCyber and IDCARE. Tomorrow my son will help me check the myGov linked services. We will look at my Medicare too.
What must survive (6 marks of information)- today: bank fraud line first
- then the email password
- then two-factor authentication
- then the credit ban
- last, ReportCyber and IDCARE
- tomorrow, the son checks myGov linked services and Medicare
Terms in this segment- first — ਪਹਿਲਾਂ pahilan
- last, finally — ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ akheer vich
- Medicare — ਮੈਡੀਕੇਅਰ Medicare
Where marks go here: This is a five-step recap and the marking follows the sequence, not just the list. Candidates who reorder it, or who compress "then... then... then" into "and all the other things", lose the ordering units. The split between today and tomorrow is a further scoreable contrast.
Register and cultural mediation in this dialogue
- Scam victims in the Punjabi community often carry real shame and expect to be blamed, which is why this client keeps asking whether Facebook was enough and whether the police will fault her. The interpreter renders the officer's matter-of-fact tone as it is; adding sympathy that was never spoken, or trimming her embarrassment, both distort the exchange.
- myGov has no Punjabi equivalent and is regularly misheard as a government office rather than one sign-in sitting in front of Medicare, the ATO and Centrelink. Keep the English name and let the officer's own words carry the explanation of linked services.
- Adult children commonly attend these sessions or are quoted in them, as the son is here. Use ਤੁਸੀਂ between officer and client, keep the son's advice attributed to him, and do not let the client's plan become the interpreter's summary of what the family should do.

Marking yourself is the slow way
It works, and it is free — but it takes twenty minutes per dialogue and it depends on you being honest about what you actually said. Inside the course you record your answer, and it is transcribed and scored against the model automatically, segment by segment, with the information you dropped highlighted. 112 dialogues across every CCL domain, unlimited scored mock tests, and a vocabulary bank that resurfaces the terms you keep missing.
No card to start. The free papers here stay free either way.
Questions about this mock test
- Why is Mock Test 20 rated the hardest of the free set?
- It stacks the two things assessors mark hardest: a legal risk warning that must be delivered at full force, and a six-step recovery sequence where the order carries marks of its own. Most segments also hold three or more numbers, so there is nowhere to coast.
- What happens if I soften a warning like "the court can impose a higher penalty"?
- It is scored as a distortion, not a minor omission, because the client would act on the wrong information. Interpreters are expected to relay bad news at the same strength it was spoken, even when the client is frightened and even when a gentler version feels kinder in Punjabi.
- Do NAATI CCL dialogues really use terms like statutory declaration?
- Yes. Legal and transport dialogues regularly include sworn documents, nominations, infringement notices and demerit points, because these are the words a duty lawyer genuinely uses. You are not expected to explain the law, only to carry the concept, including the fact that the document is sworn.
- Does the order of instructions actually count for marks?
- When a speaker says first, then and last, each ordering word is an information unit. In the technology dialogue here the bank call is deliberately first and the email password change comes before every other password, so an answer that lists the same steps in a different order drops units even though nothing is missing.
- Should I keep names like ReportCyber, IDCARE and myGov in English?
- Keep them exactly as spoken. These are the names the client will type into a search bar or say on the phone, and a translated version leaves her unable to find the service. The same applies to Transport and Main Roads in the first dialogue and to phone numbers, which must be given digit for digit.
